Terms & Conditions

By booking and securing your appointment with a deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions below.

1. Medical and Health Considerations

You must not book a cosmetic tattoo procedure if any of the following apply:

  • Major health conditions: Cancer, HIV, hepatitis, or undergoing chemotherapy (unless cleared by your doctor and completed)

  • Prone to keloid or hypertrophic scarring

  • Taking medications: Roaccutane (isotretinoin), bisphosphonates, or acne medication (must be off Accutane for 6–12 months before qualifying)

  • Allergies: To hair dyes, makeup, iron oxides, or latex

  • Recent cosmetic procedures: Cosmetic injectables, skin peels, or microdermabrasion within the last two weeks

  • Under 18 years of age

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Healing problems or currently experiencing skin irritations: Rashes, sunburn, acne, or psoriasis near the treatment area

  • Viral or bacterial infections, cold, or flu: Any illness can affect healing and results

  • Blood disorders or heart conditions

  • Organ transplant (unless cleared by your doctor)

  • Diabetic: Requires doctor’s clearance

2. Booking, Deposit, and Appointment Policy

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. This deposit will be deducted from your total on the day.

  • Rescheduling: A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule. Late cancellations or changes will result in forfeiture of your deposit.

  • No-shows: If you do not attend your appointment or fail to provide notice, your deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to rebook.

  • Late arrivals: Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in a shortened appointment or rescheduling at Harmony and Hue’s discretion, and your deposit may be forfeited.

  • Sickness: Inform us immediately if you are unwell or have an upcoming/recent surgery, as this may affect your appointment. We may be able to accomodate you at a later date at priority if you reschedule due to sickness.

3. Refund and Satisfaction Policy

  • No refunds are given for change of mind once the procedure has begun or is completed.

  • If, on arrival, you are found to have contraindications or have not followed preparation instructions, your deposit will be forfeited.

  • Touch-up appointments may be required for optimal results and are not included in the initial service price unless otherwise stated.

4. Aftercare and Preparation

  • Ensure you have read all pre-care and aftercare information before your appointment.

  • Follow all instructions provided by Harmony and Hue to maximise your results and healing.

5. Safety and Hygiene

  • No children, pets, or guests are permitted in the treatment room for safety and hygiene reasons.

  • Harmony and Hue reserves the right to refuse service at any time for any reason.

6. Payment

  • Accepted methods: Debit card, credit card (Visa/Mastercard), and cash.

  • Surcharge: Debit/credit card payments incur a 1% surcharge.

7. General

  • You must be at least 18 years old.

  • By booking, you confirm that all information provided is truthful and complete.

  • Harmony and Hue is not liable for any adverse reactions or outcomes resulting from failure to disclose relevant information.

  • Before and after photos may be taken for your file and, with your permission, for promotional use.

  • These terms do not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
